API Integration Architect, Staines Upon Thames Location, Up to £90,000 + Benefits, ASAP Start, Permanent Position

The role



The Integration Architect will be responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements.The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications.
This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint.
Key activities:
Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practicesExtensive knowledge of integration architecture standards, frameworks, and practices Extensive knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software
Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project managementExperience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery, and regression test of commercial software
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholdersExperience working with API's from commercial software applications.

Excellent communication skillsAn interest in staying hands-on technicalDemonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisionsTOGAF qualified (or equivalent) is desirable although not essential depending on experienceStrong, up to date knowledge (Cloud Service is highly desirable although not essential if experience in a similar product)Confident dealing with managers and employees at all levels.
