Nurse Seekers are recruiting an experienced Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of a highly regarded specialist SEND school supporting children and young people aged 4–19 with complex autism and learning difficulties in the Chester area.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a fully integrated, transdisciplinary model where therapy is central to pupils’ daily learning.

The Role:

Onsite, permanent position (39 weeks a year)Highly competitive salary, paid evenly over 12 monthsSmall caseload – typically classes of 6–7 pupilsWeekly hands-on input with no pressure to dischargeWork alongside Speech and Language Therapists, OTs, and Behaviour Analysts

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialist speech, language, and communication supportProvide direct and indirect therapy, including AACCollaborate closely with teaching staff and multi-disciplinary colleaguesContribute to EHCPs, reviews, and outcome monitoring

About You:

Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered)Experience supporting children and young people with autism and complex needsConfident, evidence-based practitioner
