Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Level 3

Some Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years would be an advantage Education/Training Qualifications (desirable but not essential) Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or working towards level 2 or 3.

Be able to work as part of a professional Childcare team. Have a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality Have an understanding of children's needs and behaviour The ability to set appropriate activities for children, which are stimulating and age appropriate. To be able to help children respect people of different race, ability, gender, religion and culture. To be motivated and to motivate the children and staff. The ability to develop imaginative ideas

Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Thank you for your interest in our homely, countryside family run children’s day nursery. Our staff team are experienced and knowledgeable. Here children learn and grow through experiencing and exploring the vast garden and countryside spaces surrounding the nursery.

The children take part in learning through play, through implementation of the “Early Years Foundation Stage” as stipulated by the Government.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 40 hours a week, shifts to be confirmed at offer stage
