Security Training Specialist
We are on the hunt for Security Training Specialists to join a global travel client.This role would be a great fit for people with a background in law enforcement or coming from the armed services / military.

What you will do:The Security Training Specialist will develop and deliver the onboard curriculum to dedicated teams of Security Personnel.
You will review and develop drills and continued exercises that train and up-skill individuals across a fleet.
You will schedule and lead on security searches of the surroundings including bomb search procedures.
You will also review security posture and tactics on preventing armed piracy and security measures employed during all MARSEC levels. Key responsibilities
Recommends training adjustments and modifications to existing training protocols and procedures.
Conducts remedial training after assessments on lessons learned. Brief security team post incident during hot wash. Periodically reviews security policies and procedures related to use of force, managing hostile and intoxicated guests, active assailant response and other external and internal threats. Meets with staff captains, chief security officers, security services training manager and company security officer to review all training criteria and make recommendations as needed. Responsible for familiarization with flag circulars, United States Coast Guard 33 CFR, and ISPS code pertaining to security training yearly exercise, drills, and threat management. Responsible for familiarization of Ship Security Manual, Ship Security Plan, ISPS Code and Global HESS pretraining to security training procedures. Collaborates with shipboard and shoreside security supervisors to coordinate training schedule, travel, and operational training necessities. Performs assessments during training practicums to enhance tactical and strategic response to incidents.
