I am looking for a Sensor Software Engineer who has a passion for software.
Turning prototypes into robust software solutions.
Develop new and existing software applications as part of engineering team.
Contribute to existing software architecture and signal processing algorithms in our products.
Establish, maintain and extend in-depth technical expertise in the latest advances.
Signal Processing prototyping and implementation.
Writing and Maintaining code base (largely C++ and C#).
A permanent position in Leicester, where training and progression is encouraged.
Flexible working pattern (3 days on site, 2 days remote)
Salary is dependent on experience
Pension: 8% employer contribution (No requirement for employee to contribute)
Group Life Assurance: 2x base salary
Annual Leave: 35 days (inclusive of bank holidays)

Ideally you will have some of the following skills and experience:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Maths.
Expertise writing maintainable and testable code in C++ (essential)
Understanding of object orientated design patterns (essential)
Some knowledge / experience of C#
Machine Vision techniques.
Data analysis tools (e.g.
Algorithm development (e.g.
AI, sensor fusion, robotics).
Experience of working with radar, vision, LIDAR.
