Autocare Technician Apprentice
Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles
Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service
Tyres including HGV Tyres
Wheel alignment
Batteries
Exhausts
Brakes
Oil change
Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience
Test the functionality of parts and systems
Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts
Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles
Prepared to get additional certification as needed
Willingness to learn with hands-on training
Help keep repair shops clean and organised
Keep a professional appearance
Training:
Gain experience and insight into the role with the opportunity to work with the same company full-time once the apprenticeship has been accomplished
Functional Skills in maths and English, if required
Autocare Technician Level 2 (GCSE)
Training Outcome:
Possible job opportunity to continue as fully qualified mechanic with additional pay.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm 1/2 hr lunch
