The Company A subsidiary of a telecoms blue-chip and global leaders in their field, our client is at the forefront of subsea global communications in the design, manufacture, installation of 650,000km of subsea network cable, enough to circumference the earth 15 times over!
Role Purpose Create and maintain the Master Production Plan/Forecast which is designed to achieve company operational goals.

Projects, Sales, Operations and Cross-plant requirements are all considered in the Agreed Supply Plan loaded onto the integrated systems for execution.

Main Accountabilities

Create and maintain Production Plans and Long Term Plans for their scope (SME, PFE or O&G etc.) which are used by the factories and executional teams to provide equipment on time and in full to the end customer.

Requires information from all stakeholders to create a plan that can be executed.

Load Master Production Plan on SAP and to ensure all demand loaded is correct and is a true reflection of the current supply plans and factory commitments to projects, monitor daily production output to track performance and coordinate root cause analysis’ on schedule variances.

Create/ Maintain demand for all non-contract sales i.e.

EOF’s – this creates the trigger for parts to be packed, shipped and sold.

Processing of Sales recognition for non-stock transfer internal sales i.e.


Processing of Stock Transfer Orders for completed product in Greenwich.

Trigger must be completed in a timely manner to be recognised for key milestones (Monthly, Quarterly and Year end points)

Promote and develop positive communication with Internal customers and external customers/suppliers to maintain planning/forecast accuracy.

Manage monthly planning meetings with key internal stakeholders.

Develop, maintain and publish information on Industrial Operations metrics & KPI’s.

Support ASN systems teams in change implementation as required by their management.

Participate in continuous improvement projects within the department.

Facilitate improvement initiatives through better use of systems.

Education, Knowledge and experience required

Degree in Supply Chain or demonstrable experience in scheduled planning role such as Master Planning or Project Planning.
Background in Production, Manufacturing, Engineering work environment
Knowledge of ERP systems ideally SAP
Understanding of Product Lifecycles
