Apprentice Rural Surveyor (Estate Management)
Assisting our rural surveyors in all aspects of rural property management
Assisting with the buying and selling of land
Helping with compulsory acquisition of land acting on behalf of landowners
Develop and manage relationships with clients
Attending client meetings
Preparing client communications and reports
Report writing and valuations
Site inspections completion of maps
Negotiation and engagement with stakeholders
Training:
You will work towards achieving the Chartered Surveyor Degree apprenticeship, which includes:
BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management (REALM)You will also work towards your APC (the Assessment of Professional Competence), which is the final assessment of your apprenticeship and leads to the MRICS qualification (Chartered Surveyor).
Training will be delivered at Harper Adams University through block weeks of training, supported by activities in the workplace such as work shadowing. There will be 8 block weeks of training throughout the year on campus that you will be expected to attend.
Training Outcome:
This apprenticeship leads to a qualified profession (MRICS). We will support you to achieve this as part of the structured programme. Once qualified you will have the opportunity to grow further within the business should you prove yourself as the right fit for the job.
Employer Description:
Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents and Auctioneers, Commercial Surveyors based in Suffolk. We deal in rural property matters including estate agency and lettings, land and farm sales, professional consultancy and valuations, the sale of agricultural machinery and plant, development and commercial property, and estate management. We also have our own Auction Centre at Campsea Ashe, Suffolk, that holds weekly general sales and numerous other special sales throughout the year. By combining our strong skill base, depth of experience and focus upon building long-term relationships, we deliver a comprehensive and personal service to every one of our clients
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.30pm, with 1-hour for lunch.
