Apprentice - Electrical Design: Level 6 - Derby

Develop electrical installation/wiring solutions for modifications developed by the System's team or from external 3rd parties and handle/manage the upkeep of the affected core electrical data This involves updating electrical schematics, wiring tables BOMs (Bill of Materials), creating harness stick diagrams & cable installation routing diagram Prepare modification design data, analyze, develop, test and demonstrate Electrical Engineering solutions that solve complex issues for vehicle installation requirements Provide electrical design cost and schedule estimates on complicated engineering programs Attend Alstom and customer sites to carry out on-train surveys during the various phases of design and implementation activity Respond promptly to (TQ's) technical queries raised by the customer against design data Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required, to work at height and in enclosed spaces, from time to time
