Nursery Assistant Apprentice

To work alongside the nursery team to support in the delivery of high-quality care & education to children from birth to four To ensure Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirements and practice guidance are complied with and the nursery is fully inclusive of all children To oversee, plan, prepare, implement and evaluate nursery activities using To work alongside the nursery team and undertake a Key Person Role with a group of children To ensure all record-keeping systems and nursery policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times under the guidance of the nursery management team Ensure children’s online journals are updated to a high standard. To be responsible for ensuring a safe play environment, checking materials and equipment for defects using the Nursery’s risk assessment templates Liaise with the management team to inform them of any issues that need addressing as part of staff supervision To attend and contribute to regular staff meetings and staff training sessions to be held during evenings and weekends Ensure parents are actively involved in all aspects of their child’s learning To promote and adhere to the policies and procedures of Trinity Tots To operate within the procedures for keeping children safe To operate in a flexible way to meet the needs of the nursery, children, parents and other staff members To have a good understanding of Development Matters and the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage

Training Outcome:

A permanent position may be considered post apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
Trinity Tots is connected to The Trinity Catholic primary school. We provide Nursery places for children aged 0-4 years of age. We have a small team of 7 staff who work within Trinity Tots.

Working Hours :
Working day 6 hrs -Between 730am -5.30pm.
