Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

Little School House Nursery Delivers outstanding early years education, situated in the beautiful grounds of St Vincent's School in West Derby.

As a level 2 practitioner apprentice you will be expected to: 

To work alongside a professionally qualified team To promote child development To support with personal care of the children To engage in play and activities To assist in lunch and snacks To be aware of all aspects of safeguarding

Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification Functional skills in maths and English if required

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.



Training Outcome:

To progress to a higher Early Years qualification.

The Little School House Nursery and Pre-school opened its doors in 2016. Experienced teachers Joanne Dunn and Amanda Philips made the decision to use their wealth of experience and expertise in early years education to open a nursery and pre-school that promoted a holistic approach to early years education.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - shifts to be agreed at offer stage.
