Early Years Educator Apprentice

This is an active role, supporting children to learn and thrive.

You will support practitioners to plan and adapt learning for key children, and support the assessment of key children.

Early years educators are good role models, act with honesty and integrity, take part in team meetings and contribute to planning and setting activities.

Promoting Fundamental British Values and positive behaviours is crucial in contributing to improved learner progress and development.

Training:

You will learn on-the-job alongside experienced practitioners and a mentor. You will also attend conference days with other Early Years Educator Apprentices at our training centre in East London, and attend remote workshops with your tutor.

You will gain in-depth knowledge of child psychology, development theories, and the fundamental role of play. You will develop skills in creating inclusive, enabling indoor and outdoor environments, implementing the observation, assessment, and planning cycle to support individual learning, and maintaining professional relationships with parents, colleagues and outside agencies. You will have opportunities to develop and demonstrate a commitment to reflective practice.

All work and training settings are located in Tower Hamlets, London.
