Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Support for Pupils:
Provide individual or small group support to pupils, helping them to achieve their learning targets Foster positive relationships with students, promoting engagement and motivation in learning activities Assist in the personal, social, and emotional development of children, offering pastoral support where needed Help to manage behaviour in the classroom, using positive reinforcement techniques and ensuring a safe, respectful environmentSupport for Teachers:
Work collaboratively with teachers to prepare lesson materials and resources Assist with lesson delivery, ensuring that students understand and follow instructions Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any observed learning needs Supervise students during break times, on school trips, or in other activities as requiredSupport for the Curriculum:
Deliver interventions and tailored learning support for pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs) Assist with literacy, numeracy, or other targeted curriculum areas under the teacher’s guidance Use technology and resources effectively to support learningGeneral Administrative Duties:
Help maintain a tidy, organised classroom environment Contribute to record-keeping, including attendance, assessments, and observationsTraining:
Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification 20% off the job training Tutor support via online platform
Training Outcome:
Permanent role considers on completion of the apprenticeship Level 5 HLTA qualification available with LMP Education

Working Hours :
Term time only. Monday - Friday, during school hours (to be confirmed). 30 hours per week total.
