Creating a range of activities for children, both indoor and outdoor activities Aiding in feeding the children Tidying up the nursery after the children Teaching children the EYFS framework

Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
Level 3- Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator
Your apprenticeship will last for 14 months. You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor within the nursery.  Apprentices must successfully evidence a first aid qualification approved by EYFS.

Training Outcome:

Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a full-time position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:

Room Leader Positions Possible Management training Springboard into Primary Education Paediatric Nursing Continuous development in current nursery setting

Hopscotch is a small, friendly Day Nursery, established in 1990, offering spacious, nurturing care for children up to age five and registered with the local authority and Ofsted. It provides a loving, supportive environment that fosters each child’s individual development and happiness, helping them reach their full potential.

Working Hours :
Apprentices are required to be flexible to meet the needs of the business, and punctuality is key. Working as part of a team and using own initiative are essential. The average working week will be between 30 plus hours, Monday- Friday, shifts TBC.
