Production Controller

We are looking for a Production Controller to work on a long term contract, with the possibility of going permanent, in Manchester.

Salary is up to £25,000 per annum plus holidays, pension etc.
The role is working Monday to Thursday days
Duties:





: To ensure components and materials are at the relevant work assets as required.




: Manage production plans through dialogue with planning and other team members and to also ensure efficient assigning of work to assets along with ensuring material availability.






: Assist the planner in prioritising the daily / weekly and Monthly workloads whilst making available all relevant production and department data.





: Provide cover for the Team leader as required.





: To liaise with the material store keeper to maintain adequate stock levels.








: To ensure that all work done is to the highest standard and complies with all relevant legislation and standards whilst maintaining OEE departmental targets.





: Update SAP to maintain accuracy.





: Build and maintain good working relationships with internal / external contacts and meet customer delivery performance targets set by the department.





: To observe the companies fire, health and safety and any other applicable policies including near misses.





: To continuously improve your work centres performance OEE through deployment of LEAN manufacturing processes.





: To carry out any other duties within the scope of the job, as requested by the Team Leader / Manager of the department.
