We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent optical practice in Caterham for an Optical Assistant to join their friendly, patient-focused team.

The Role

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every patient receives a smooth, reassuring, and high-quality experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients and guiding them through their visit Supporting dispensing, including frame and lens selection Pre-screening and supporting clinics Adjustments, repairs, and collections Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice Delivering consistently high standards of customer care

About You

This role would suit someone who:

Has previous experience working as an Optical Assistant Is confident, warm, and professional with patients Takes pride in delivering excellent service Enjoys working in a community-focused, independent environment Is organised, reliable, and a strong team player Is ideally looking for a full-time, long-term role
