Key Responsibilities for this Manufacturing Manager role in Aberystwyth, Wales:

Lead manufacturing operations across a team of approximately 25 people, with 5 direct reports (cell leaders & logistics/stores leadership) Drive a strong process and continuous improvement culture, improving quality, efficiency, and delivery performance Oversee production planning, logistics, and stores functions to ensure smooth end-to-end operations Support and develop your leadership team, ensuring engagement, accountability, and performance

Requirements for this Manufacturing Manager role based in Aberystwyth, Wales:

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager / Production Manager within optics, sensors, bio-manufacturing, or precision engineering Demonstrated background in process improvement / continuous improvement methodologies Experience managing manufacturing teams in a cell-based production environment Strong people leadership skills able to motivate, develop, and build trust across teams
