Architectural Assistant - Part 1 - Degree Apprenticeship - BA (Hons)
Prepare and update drawings using CAD software
Assist with concept design, layouts, and feasibility studies
Amend drawings following feedback from clients and consultants
Attend site visits
Work closely with other team members
Learn professional communication and coordination skills
Maintain a training log / portfolio for apprenticeship requirements
Participate in mentoring sessions and progress reviews
Training:
1 day a week work release at the University of Portsmouth
Continuous Training & Support throughout the working week
Training Outcome:
Following the apprentiship the applicant will have 4 years industry expereince and a Bachelors Degree in Architecture
If the applicant would not like to contiue further studies they can continue working and create a career as an Architectural Technician, become a Chartered Architectural Technologist or continue to work in any other similar role within the industry
If the applicant chooses to continue studies they can do a masters degree in architecture either full time or as another part time apprentiship
This route will allow the applicant to become an ARB registered Architect

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm 1 day will be allocated to day release at the University (day dictated by the University timetable)
