Vehicle Technician

Established in 1928, Holden Group is a family-owned group of Car Dealerships in Norwich, Norfolk.

Representing Kia, Volvo, Honda, Renault, Dacia and MG, we offer new, nearly new and approved used cars and vans, as well as servicing, repairs and maintenance services. The Role – Vehicle Technician:Competitive salary – £25 - £35k OTE dependent on experienceWe have a couple of positions available with varying hours.

Duties for all Vehicle Technicians will include:
Carrying out service and repair work of customers vehicles accurately, skilfully and efficiently and in accordance with Company and Manufacturer standardsDetecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer's satisfactionMaintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertakenLiaising with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to ensure that an informed diagnosis can be made on each vehicle and that the Service Advisor is able to relay the rectification workLiaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands and recognises value for moneyReporting all opportunities for any additional workEnsuring that every reasonable care is taken of customers’ vehiclesMaintaining and developing personal skill levels
 Person Specification:
A strong technical background, preferably with qualified technician status, although manufacturer-specific training will be providedExperience in the diagnostic, service and repair of vehicles, and a background in mechanics/as a Vehicle TechnicianExcellent fault finding and problem-solving skillsA UK driving licenceStrong customer focusExcellent organisational and administration skillsA flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently under pressure
