Product AnalystWe are working with a rapidly growing, innovative, and dynamic data solutions company who are dedicated to helping their clients solve complex business challenges.They are going through a hypergrowth period as they continue to expand their footprint within the data landscape across a variety of industries, and they are looking for experienced Product Analysts to join the team and help them continue to provide an exceptional service to their clients by addressing their core business problems.As a Product Analyst you will work in multi-disciplined product development teams to help shape our market leading data products by providing insight and research.Job Responsibilities
Help define and manage rulesets and scorecards for our productsTake ownership for all reference data used within our products, both proprietary and third partyAnalyse output of the data products to ensure they meet the objectivesAssisting in the research of new product linesProvide quality control during the implementation of new products or upgradesEnsuring the client data is appropriate and formatted correctly for processingWork with our clients to ensure the data is utilised correctlyData analysis and identification of key and emerging trendsInvestigate key drivers and draw relationships between different items of informationUndertake business casing and scenario modellingUse statistical techniques where appropriate to test and model predictive relationshipsIdentify actionable insight from datasets in response to business questionsDesign and streamline processes to obtain and prepare regular and ad-hoc reportingUtilise data visualisation software (e.g.
Tableau) as appropriateDesign and prepare management information packsUse commercial understanding & awareness to present findings, key trends, issues and potential solutions in context
Previous experience within a similar roleCommercial experience within Telecoms, Banking or Utilities industries; or within a data related consultancy company would be beneficialHave applied technical and analytical skills using SQL and ExcelIdeally be educated to degree level in a numerate subject, and with strong A-levels in mathematical/ scientific based subjectsPrevious experience with data visualisation software such as Tableau would be beneficialAble to travel throughout the UK
