Apprentice Carpenter

Work closely with and shadow an experienced colleague to improve your knowledge of the trade and gain relevant skills.

Work towards achieving a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship qualification.

Acheive acceptable levels of customer satisfaction and to actively promote the delivery of service in a positive manner.

Training:

Studying towards the Level 2 Carprentry & Joinery apprenticeship at Fareham College one day a week. 

Internal induction programme when starting employment with us.

Training Outcome:

You will be a qualified Carpenter upon completion and be able to apply for qualified posts. 

You could also chose to complete the Level 3 Advanced Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship. 

Although we can’t guarantee you a permanent job at the end of your apprenticeship, we will support you to apply for suitable roles within the council, and help make sure you are ready for a wider job search.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, shifts, may work evenings and weekends. 37 working hours per week + 2 hours toil.
