Apprentice Engineer

CJ Electratech are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable individual, looking for a career in Security System installation, to join their talented team.

The purpose of the role is to carry out the installation and maintenance of all electronic systems used in the security industry, such as intruder alarm, access control, CCTV and audio/visual systems. 

Duties to include:

Installation & maintenance of security systems and fire alarms Assisting company engineers with their duties Drilling holes / using a cordless drill and a range of hand tools Commissioning, testing, and fault finding Reactive & preventative maintenance Liaising with site personnel Completion of all relevant job paperwork Following health & safety guidelines Handover & training of systems to customers Provide outstanding service to customers and build solid working relationships Clean and tidy appearance in uniform Probationary period applies

Training:

Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Level 3 apprenticeship standard – will attend fortnightly day release at our Team Valley training centre.

Training Outcome:

The successful applicant would have excellent long-term prospects, with the opportunity to develop as the company continues to grow.

As the apprentice develops in the role, they will be given more responsibility and increased independent working.

Working Hours :
8:30am-4:30pm Mon-Friday 37.5 hours per week, 30 minutes.
