Credit Controller

As the Credit Controller you will be joining this established company who since 2010 have grown to over 300 locations and employ over 2000 staff.

The role will be based in Brackley where you will be part of a small team.

This role will suit an individual who wants to grow with the business and be part of their supportive and fabulous team.
Purpose of the Credit Controller role
The company generates around 5,000 customer invoices per month across 6,000 customer accounts and you will be responsible for a third of this.
Key accountabilities for the Credit Controller

To control and manage the customer accounts assigned
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
Effectively minimise bad debts to maximise the company's "collection performance"
Produce account reconciliation and information, both internally and externally
Maintaining all customer records and ledger accounts
Manage incoming/outgoing calls to ensure all customer queries resolved efficiently
Undertake administrative duties as required, supply statements, copy invoices, credits
Processing payment allocation to your ledger
Resolving remittance issues with customers
To be responsible for suspense review and resolving amounts held on suspense
Aged debt reporting, weekly banking reporting and weekly bank rec responsibilities

Skills, attributes and experience required for the Credit Controller:

Previous experience within credit control
Proven experience of process efficiency
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy
A curious mindset and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Initiative-taking approach to work
Effective communication skills

What’s in it for you?
The salary is up to £27,000.

Based on full time hours of 8:30 – 5pm Monday – Friday (30 mins break).
