Early Years Educator Apprenticeship – Oasis Connaught

Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Create a welcoming, inclusive environment and foster positive relationships with children, parents/carers, colleagues, and external agencies. Work collaboratively with teachers and teams to differentiate teaching resources, materials, and delivery to meet individual needs. Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning activities, providing feedback to teachers and children on progress, next steps, and behaviour. Support teaching by monitoring, assessing, and recording pupils’ progress and identifying next steps. Assist in the creation, development, and review of individual pupil development plans, including Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and positive behaviour. Assist children with physical care routines while promoting independence (e.g. nappy changing, eating, dressing, handwashing). Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and planning sessions.
 

Training:
Early Years Educator (Level 3)  Qualification in Early Years and access to 90+ CPD online courses  Blended on/off-the-job training and location to be confirmed 

All candidates participate in an initial intense training programme at the start of the selection process. During this period, our experienced staff will prepare candidates for their placements by giving them the foundations they need to secure a placement.  
Our recruitment team will also be on hand to support you with interview skills ready for a placement interview.

Possible progression after the apprenticeship.
