Key Account Manager


As Key Account Manager you will be joining a small and dedicated team.

The role is full time and permanent, based in a lovely rural location, just outside Thame, offering a salary of between £27,500 and £30,000 DOE.

Key to the role is lead generation to increase sales pipeline and company client portfolio.

Purpose of the role: Responsible for proactively generating activities to drive sales of product areas from marketing initiatives to prospecting existing and new clients.



Key Accountabilities for the Key Account Manager Role:

Identifying opportunities with clients to upsell and cross sell new products
Actively contacting new and existing customers
Building and managing your sales pipeline
Maintaining and updating customer details
Maintaining high levels of customer interaction through outbound calls and emails
Implement marketing initiatives targeting key products
Following up on quotes through to product sale
Growing sales in specialist product areas
Dealing with policy reviews
Providing high levels of customer service over the phone and in person
All administration involved in new and updating policies


Key Skills Required for the Key Account Manager Role:

Sales/telemarketing and or key account management experience within a dynamic sales environment


Working towards individual, team and business KPI’s/targets and being successful
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Commercial business acumen
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Customer centric, and acts with customers in mind
Able to build strong long term relationships
Action orientated with a drive for results
Confident solution lead problem solver
Able to negotiate skilfully with both internal and external groups
