Export Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an experienced Export Area Sales Manager who has a proven track record of selling into the engineering and process industry.
We have an excellent opportunity for the successful Export Area Sales Manager for you to join an international market leading company who specialise in the design and manufacture of heat technology at their purpose-built facility in the South Yorkshire area.
The Export Area Sales Manager will be responsible for looking after assigned territories and providing support to local representatives in the relevant markets focusing on selling the standard product range whist also liaising with the engineering team to sell more bespoke capital products.
Primary duties of the Export Area Sales Manager:

To advise and support international sales partners with regards to new products, methods and analytical procedures.
To maintain and build on the relationships with distributors and their customers.
To provide product training to overseas sales staff.
To conduct continuous market analyses and develop successful sales and marketing strategies for your countries based on these analyses.
Responsible for preparing and implementing sales plans to sell and deliver growth in assigned territories.

Competences required of the Export Area Sales Manager:

Experience in sales of technically demanding products.
Basic knowledge of properties and thermal processing of materials (ceramics, metals, glass, graphite and MIM/CIM).
Excellent communicational, presentation and IT skills.
Comfortable with regular international travel.

Qualifications required for Export Area Sales Manager:

Degree qualified in a scientific and engineering discipline.
