Early Years Apprentice

Stimulating children’s learning abilities, often through experiences Contributing to the development of a child’s personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities Producing teaching resources Keeping an eye on each child’s progress, assessing and recording their improvements Instilling children with natural curiosity and knowledge Communicating with parents Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices

Training:

As part of this apprenticeship, you will undertake the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner standard. In addition, you will undertake other CPD related courses as part of your employment, such as Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Children.

Training Outcome:

We support any aspirations staff have for furthering their qualifications, whether this be further CPD or, as your career develops, L3 or L5 qualifications.

We aim for all staff to hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate, which is regularly updated, along with training in Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Manual Handling.

Appy Little Plums Ltd Day Nursery is a family run business managed by owner Vicky Halliwell. Recently graded as Outstanding by OFSTED.

The nursery is registered on the Early Years Register. A maximum of 54 children can attend the nursery at any one time.

We aim to provide a fun, loving and nurturing environment where our children will thrive and learn through play.
