Plastering apprenticeship

Apply solid plastering systems using one and two coat plastering to internal surfaces. Construct positive or negative running moulds. Set down running rules correctly. Run reverse moulds and prepare for casting. Run panel moulds. Take casts from reverse moulds. Apply three coat plastering, including heritage lime mortars and finishes, and machine applied plaster; sealings and bonding agents, re-instate plastering systems after chemical damp proof injection. Apply traditional, modern and machine applied render systems including colour rendering; run in situ moulding work in sand and cement.

Training:

After the 24 months, you will become a qualified Level 2 plasterer with the oportunity to progress onto a drylining apprenticeship.  

You will need to attend our training centre for your college days for 3 consecutive days per month. This is located in Bedminster, Bristol.

To become a qualified plasterer with the opportunity to progress onto a drylining apprenticeship.
