Composite Technician Apprenticeship

Our four-year Composite Technician Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on experience at our specialist Composites Division in Clevedon, Somerset, with classroom learning at Weston College You will play a key role in using advanced materials to manufacture components for our executive passenger seating Gain specialist skills across design, tooling, moulding, lay-up, curing, machining, inspection, testing, repair and material production, developing expertise that supports cutting-edge manufacturing programmes and prepares you for a rewarding career in a high-growth industry

Training:
Workplace training will be provided through mentoring and shadowing There is an established apprenticeship programme in place, with a number of apprentices already within the workplace who will also provide support You will also be supported by Weston College through Assessors

Potential for full-time position and progression within the business

Working Hours :
Years 1 & 2 – 36.5 Hours (Monday - Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 - there is flexibility on this, Friday Half day) Years 3 & 4 – 39 Hours (Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 - there is flexibility on this, Friday Half day)
