Apprentice Civil Engineer - Transport Planning

You will develop your general understanding of civil engineering and planning. Typical duties could involve:

Assisting in the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans Developing sustainable transport solutions Highway design including use of CAD Analysis of data and drawings of transport improvements including junction designs Preparing Technical reports to support planning applications
Site and Access Appraisals Liaising with clients and stakeholders
This position will include day release to complete a fully funded professionally accredited apprenticeship at a local university

Transport Planner: This role involves planning and designing transport systems, including highways, bridges, and other infrastructure. Transport planners work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure that transport systems are safe, efficient, and environmentally sustainable Transport Engineer: Transport engineers are responsible for the design and maintenance of transport infrastructure. They work on projects that include the construction of new roads, bridges, and tunnels, as well as the repair and maintenance of existing infrastructure

Working Hours :
You will be working Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Start and finish times will typically be 9am- 5.30pm.
