Estates Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprentice

Assist in monitoring compliance across Estates maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to statutory and safety regulations, including health and safety, fire safety, and environmental standards.

Support in carrying out inspections, audits, and risk assessments of plant, equipment, and buildings to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Help maintain and update compliance records, reports, and statutory documentation within the Estates management systems.

Work collaboratively with the maintenance team and contractors to ensure planned and reactive works comply with legislation, University policy, and industry best practice.

Assist in developing compliance checklists, safe systems of work, and method statements to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Support the coordination of remedial works identified through inspections and audits, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping.

Contribute to the preparation and presentation of compliance performance data for management review.

Attend internal and external training courses to gain knowledge in compliance, safety management, and property maintenance operations.

Maintain personal training logs and evidence portfolios in line with apprenticeship requirements.

Adhere at all times to all relevant health and safety policies and safe working practices.

Keep all working areas, including store areas, in a clean and safe condition.

Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship standard.
