Environmental, Health and Safety Technician Apprenticeship

Health, Safety and Environment Support

Assist with safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Support risk assessments and safe work systems. Record and analyse safety data, including near misses and corrective actions. Support environmental initiatives for waste reduction, recycling, and energy efficiency. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain EHS records in the company management system (e.g., Intelex).
 

EHS Management Systems and Compliance

Work on the implementation of EHS management systems aligned with Weetabix Standards. Assist in preparing for audits by gathering necessary documentation. Engage in policy and risk control reviews to suggest improvements.

Training:

The apprenticeship training will take place remotely and delivered by University of Lincoln 1 day a month via Microsoft Teams and other digital learning platforms. 



Training Outcome:

Further full-time employment and training.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm. Working hours to be confirmed at interview.
