V05078 - Advanced Apprentice Manufacturing Engineering Technician
• Overhaul and manufacture components and assemblies found within our complex radar and underwater military products
• Produce or re-furbish the components found in our underwater military products
• Interpret drawings/specifications to plan work, ensuring you have the right tools, equipment and resources to complete the task to the required specification
• Develop a detailed understanding of manufacturing and assembly techniques, to include, but not limited to, electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, printed circuit board rework and microelectronics processing
• During the first year you will be based within our Skills Development Centre located in Portsmouth Naval Base
Training:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Training Outcome:
