V05315 - Advanced Apprentice Mechanical Machinist/Setter Technician

Program, set-up, operate and manage CNC machine tools in a production environment. This highly skilled engineering role also involves working with other auxiliary equipment such as conventional machine tools, press machines, robotics and measuring systems.
Create detailed engineering drawings and use a full range of measuring equipment.
Gain core competencies to set and run a CNC Lathe.
Hand fitting and polishing to a high level of accuracy.
Supporting the running of multiple products throughout the site.
Tool changes and programme modifications.
Continuous Improvement.
Health and Safety of yourself and others.



Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.



Training Outcome:
