Production Operative Apprentice (Polyurethane Moulding)

As an apprentice in our Moulding Department you will be involved in the full manufacturing process, including:

Operating a polyurethane moulding machine — from setup to production. Loading mould tools and materials, mixing and pouring polyurethane elastomer. Removing moulded parts, cleaning moulds, de-flashing and preparing parts for quality inspection. Checking products for quality, and making sure they meet customer specifications. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.

You’ll gain hands-on experience and training in every step, from raw materials to finished product.

Training:
All training will take place in the workplace, under the supervision or the department mentor. A TDR training officer will support all other activities leading to end point assessment.

Training Outcome:

Full time position upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm.
