Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprentice

• Flat laser area - (Denesting material, de-burring material, brake press, bar bending) 

• Learning machine operations (Mills & Lathes)

• Being involved with completing work in progress items in the Machine Shop. Seeing the process through from raw materials, cutting/machining of components, quality checks, picking components to complete work orders.

Training:
Engineering and manufacturing support technician (Level 3) apprenticeship One day per week at College, four days per week on the job. Assessor would make regular visits to workplace. Course work and and skills portfolio will be completed via an online learning platform

Machine shop operative

Machine setter 

Team Leader
