The role is a Process and Quality Control Engineer
We are an automotive manufacturer who have been established for almost 20 years, converting vehicles for Wheelchair accessibility currently converting 3 different vehicle types i.e.
VW Caddy 5, Ford Custom and Ford Connect.
Below are details of the responsibilities and experience required:
Managing the Quality Control team to ensure any defects are identified and resolved to ensure the Quality of product delivered to our customer exceeds their expectations.
Following a structured problem-solving methodology to identify and carry out process-based improvement projects to not only improve production processes but also ensure Prevent Recurrence Actions are embedded.
Maintaining records of customer complaints and internal non-conformances and the corrective / preventative actions taken in accordance with ISO9001.
Maintaining records of Supplied Quality issues.
Liaising and visiting suppliers to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring calibrated equipment is maintained and recorded.
Maintaining Approved Suppliers database and maintaining records of Supplier Evaluation results via.
Onsite audits or questionnaires.
Experience / Competencies :
Experience of working in a similar Quality & Process focussed role within a manufacturing environment (ideally automotive)
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Man management experience
