A well-established engineering business is looking to recruit an Apprentice Welding Fabricator to join its workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in welding and fabrication within a supportive, hands-on environment.

As an Apprentice Welding Fabricator, you will work alongside experienced fabricators and welders while developing practical and technical skills. You’ll be trained to read drawings, prepare materials, and produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities of the Apprentice Welder fabricator position

Learn MIG and TIG welding techniques Assist in the fabrication of components using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Use workshop machinery including press brake, guillotine, drills, and saws Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials accurately Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work to engineering drawings and quality standards

The Ideal Candidate:

Keen interest in welding, fabrication, or engineering Practical mindset and willingness to learn Good attention to detail and work ethic Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred, but not essential
