Location of the Welder Fabricator role: Batley
A well-established engineering business is looking to recruit an experienced MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator on a permanent basis.
This role is ideal for a skilled fabricator with strong welding ability across aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel, and confidence using a full range of fabrication machinery.
The work is very bespoke in nature – working on a variety of projects, keeping the work interesting and varied. Duties of the Welder Fabricator role
MIG & TIG welding of aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel
Fabrication of components and assemblies from engineering drawings
Use of workshop machinery including press brake, guillotine, folders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
Carrying out work to a high standard of quality and accuracy
General workshop duties to support production requirements
We would like to hear back from people for the MIG TIG Welder Fabricator that have: (Even if you don’t have all the skills we would welcome you to apply)
Proven experience in MIG & TIG welding (Company are happy to train people in Tig welding if you haven’t much experience with this)
Confident welding aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
Strong fabrication background with hands-on machine shop experience
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team
What’s on offer for the Welder Fabricator position:
£15 to £18.00 per hour, depending on experience
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Early finish on Fridays
Permanent position with long-term stability
