Paintshop Operative Apprentice
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, masking, and cleaning Mix and apply paints, primers, and coatings using appropriate tools and techniques Operate spray booths and other paintshop equipment safely and efficiently Inspect painted items for quality and finish, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations. Follow work instructions, job cards, and technical specifications Record work completed and report any issues or defects to supervisors Support continuous improvement initiatives within the paintshopTraining:
The learner will be studying the Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification Day release to West Suffolk College
Training Outcome:
The opportunity of a full-time role and future training as required by the business may be offered on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
