Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer

Because of continued growth and expansion, this employer is actively searching for an Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer will include:

Conducting planned and preventative work on a range of industrial plant and machinery in line with agreed PPM schedules
Minimizing machine/plant downtime and reacting to breakdowns in a timely manner
Fault-finding and rectifying Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic issues
Actively participating in continuous-improvement meetings/initiatives across the site
Assisting with R&D and machinery upgrade projects across the site


The Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer will possess:

Formal qualifications within Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 etc.)
Strong and stable work experience within a similar position
IDEAL: Mechanical knowledge and experience with the ability of carrying out basic mechanical repairs/diagnostics
IDEA NOT ESSENTIAL: 18th Edition qualification and PLC fault-finding skills/experience
The flexibility to occasionally work on call (approx.

1 week in 6)


Working Hours of the Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer:
39 Hours per week, spread across regular day shifts:

Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 17:00
Friday – 08:00 to 16:00


Details of the Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer position:

Annual Salary: Between £32,000.00 - £35,000.00 depending on experience & abilities
Holiday Allowance: 28 Days per annum – rising to 35 days after 3 years’ service
Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (3% Employer & 5% Employee)
