Apprentice Assembly Fitter

Support the existing team with the assembly, build, and testing of in-house tooling and equipment.

Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment (initially focused mainly on mechanical systems).

Use and be trained in the use of hand tools and electronic test equipment.

Repair, maintain, and service a wide range of machinery.

Fit replacement parts, carry out fault-finding, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.



Training:

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Engineering Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.

You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.



Training Outcome:

Potentially full-time employment upon completing the apprenticeship successfully.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 7.45-16.15 (option to leave at 13.00 on Friday if time made up beforehand).
