Gymnastics Sports Coach L4 Apprentice

Purpose of the Role To deliver high-quality, engaging gymnastics lessons that are safe, structured, and enjoyable, ensuring every child feels valued and motivated to return. Coaches are directly responsible for creating exceptional first experiences for trial children, converting them into members, and retaining members long term.

Core Responsibilities:

Child Safety & Welfare:

Maintain a safe training environment, follow safeguarding policies, and allow parents access when needed

Lesson Delivery & Engagement:

Deliver classes to plan, bring energy and theatre, ensure all children get attention and recognition

Member Retention:

Build strong relationships, encourage and reward children weekly, and create a fun, supportive environment

Trial Conversion:

Deliver great trial experiences, speak to parents about successes, and offer same-day sign-up with a free T-shirt

Parent Communication:

Always positive and encouraging, share progress, only give negatives when safety-related

Professional Standards:

Be punctual, in uniform, attend weekly site meeting, complete CPD, and update children’s books weekly

Training:
Sports Coach Level 4 (Higher national certificate) Apprenticeship Standard The Apprentice will receive full on the job training from their employer as well as 20% off the job training. they will receive full wrap around support from SCL 

Training Outcome:
The apprentice can progress into teaching if desired, once they have completed their Sports Coach Level 4

Vista Enterprise Portfolio UK LTD runs a number of Children's sport academies including a Gymnastics Academy .

Working Hours :
Saturday & Sunday, 7.45am -5.45pm, Then 3 days weekdays at 4.00pm - 8.00pm
