Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship - Level 4 - London/Salford
As a Procurement and Supply Chain apprentice (PSC26), this is brilliant opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute – you will:?
Assist with sourcing and selecting suppliers to choose the best outcome for the BBC based on quality, cost, and delivery needs.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, liaising, negotiating and addressing issues whilst fostering collaboration in order to ensure the best outcome for the BBC.
Undertake market analysis to establish potential routes to market. Interpret, analyse and evaluate data throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Ensure procurement activities comply with legal and organisational standards, managing risk effectively.
Persuade and influence internal stakeholder ensuring they are supportive throughout the procurement projects.
Understand and embed risk mitigation strategies for contracts with high environmental and social sustainability impacts.
Training:
You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job.
This means you’ll spend at least one day a week studying for a Level 4 Procurement and Supply Chain Practitioner apprenticeship (aligned with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Diploma) with our learning provider, using its virtual delivery platform. You will cover key aspects needed in any procurement roles such as:
Scope and Influence of Procurement.
Defining business needs.
Ethical and sustainable sourcing.
Commercial negotiation and contracting.
Supply relationships
Training Outcome:
This is a fixed-term apprenticeship - your contract lasts for the duration of the scheme.
