Fleet Planner £12.55 per hour £18.33 p/h on Saturday (1 in 3 weekends) (8am-12pm)£200p/m on-call bonus Permanent Opportunity Monday – Friday08:00 – 17:00 (1 hour break)Lichfield Proman is currently working with a large manufacturing business, based in Lichfield, who are looking to recruit an experienced Fleet Planner to join their in-house transport team.

This role would suit a Class 1 Driver looking to transition into the office.Based at the Head Office in Lichfield, you will be responsible for managing the internal fleet for our client, managing the planning for the fleet including the vehicle and driver schedules and working closely with the drivers for guidance.Having good geographical knowledge would be a distinct advantage for the role. Fleet Planner   Duties & Responsibilities  
Analyse upcoming orders and plan haulier allocation ensuring efficient and safe delivery of goods on time, as well as ability to adapt them to changing priorities.Assist our production team by providing up to date collection information.Develop and maintain relationships with haulier and to ensure planned output is achievable and executed accurately.Dealing with day-to-day queries including chasing uncollected deliveries and feedback on undelivered returned loads.Support the logistics team with issuing driver paperwork, collating outstanding paperwork and directing external calls.
 Fleet Planner  Personal Skills / Attributes:  
Previous experience working as a transport planner and in transport operationsStrong customer service focus with excellent communication skillsAbility to work under pressure.

Excellent PC skills including Excel and spreadsheets
