Accounts Level 2 Apprenticeship

Ensuring supplier invoices are promptly processed in line with company procedures Investigating and resolving queries from colleagues and suppliers Undertaking statement reconciliations using excel Supporting the preparation and processing of the weekly payment run Assisting with other financial operations within the team, such as the purchase ledger utilities function

In the first six months:

You’ll shadow Finance Team members as they undertake key tasks You’ll undertake administrative tasks to support the team You’ll learn the internal processes and procedures we have to support the finance function You’ll learn about good financial management and how important this is You’ll get to grips with our IT systems and record keeping

Training:
Off the job training will take place at Oldham College one day a week

We work with a number of people who have found themselves homeless due to unfortunate circumstances including debt, domestic violence, substance misuse issues, asylum seekers and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We also support those with no recourse to public funds as well as young people who have left care and support individuals in their own homes. The Apprentice Finance Assistant will be joining our Finance Team who are responsible for ensuring financial transactions are recorded efficiently and accurately and all reports and payments are completed on time.
