Apprentice Early Years Educator - Wonder Years Inspirational Day Care Centre - S65 4QB
The role of the apprentice will be to work within a team, providing high quality care and education to children from 2 - 5 years of age.
The role includes:
Working alongside children, meeting the individual needs of all the children Setting up and completing activities Care duties, including mealtime support, toileting and nappy changes Liaising with parents and carers etc. Record keeping and any other appropriate duties requested by the senior teamTraining:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) Apprentices must successfully complete the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed.
Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate there is the possibility of ongoing employment upon completion of the relevant qualification An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence

Our nursery provides a stimulating and open environment, where children are encouraged to explore and develop their imaginations and curiosity, allowing them to progress in all areas of learning. Our staff team work closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing activities and opportunities for children to learn and meet the milestones within their early years journey, before transitioning to full time education. Each child is designated a Key Person who works closely with the child and their families, building a strong and healthy relationship and providing support and guidance when required, helping the child feel safe and secure in our home from home environment. We provide a full daily menu that provides a healthy diet for all our children, including fresh fruit and vegetables and water and milk throughout the day. Any dietary requirements can be discussed and we will do all we can to meet any individual needs. It is important that children receive a variety of opportunities and we are dedicated to expanding these opportunities by providing extra curricular activities such as sports coaching, wildlife visits and engaging with the local community.
Working Hours :
4 days per week between Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm
