Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Duties of this role, including but not limited to:
Working with a wide range of class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning Coaching children on a 1 to 1 or group basis Accompanying groups on trips Supporting assessment and evidencing learning Working with the teacher to create stimulating classroom displays and learning resources Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability Supporting children with SEND to access learning on a 1 to 1 or group basisTraining:
Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
A mixture of blended learning in the workplace and taught delivery at the Loughborough College (optional term time only) Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor Attendance to Loughborough College for Functional Skills (if required) On-the-job training Off-the-job trainingTraining Outcome:
All apprentices will be able to apply for Learning Support Assistant roles as they are advertised towards the end of their apprenticeship There is no guaranteed role at the end of training, if there are no available positions at The Hall we will support the candidate in applying for a role elsewhere

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 3.30pm, you will be required to work additional hours to total 35 hours per week. There will be a discussion with the successful candidate. Some have led sports clubs, others morning tutoring groups.
