Practice Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Practice Accountant to join a well-established professional accountancy firm providing accounting, tax, and business advisory services to small and medium-sized organisations. As a Practice Accountant, you will be producing a range of financial reports, supporting client portfolios and contributing to the delivery of high-quality advisory work. This is a full-time permanent role offering hybrid working options (3 days office, 2 day from home), a salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 and benefits. You will be responsible for ? Supporting a portfolio of clients as a key point of contact. ? Preparing statutory accounts, business tax returns and personal tax submissions. ? Producing management accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis. ? Completing relevant financial reports such as capital gains documentation. ? Attending client meetings and maintaining strong professional relationships. ? Managing multiple assignments efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met. What We Are Looking For ? Previously worked as a Practice Accountant, Accounts Senior, Accounts supervisor, Accounts Semi Senior, Client Accountant, Accountant, Semi Senior Accountant or in a a similar role. ? Practical experience of 2 years gained within UK accountancy practice. ? AAT qualification and ongoing studies towards ACCA or ACA. ? Confident working with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software ? Strong organisational ability with a meticulous approach to work. ?
