V05217 - Degree Apprentice Electrical and Electronic Engineer

The field of Electrical Engineering encompasses two distinct areas: Internal Communications and Platform Data Systems (ICPDS) and Control and Instrumentation (C&I) In the realm of ICPDS, you will focus on resolving technical challenges related to wire-free communications, digital/IP telephony, POTS, visual surveillance, distributed media systems, broadcast audio, and fibre optics In Control and Instrumentation, you will be dedicated to tackling technical inquiries such as conceptual design and development of control and instrumentation systems, engineering outputs for procurement and manufacturing, factory acceptance tests, system integration, supplier liaison, defect resolution, dockside test organisation support, sea trials, in-service/through-life support, upgrades, modifications, and application of learning from experience

Training:
Electrical and Electronic Engineer (Degree) Level 6 (Degree with honours) An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Training Outcome:
